On the Arm of a Player by Reese Ring

What's the genre? What is it you like or don't like about this cover? Does it make you want to know more about the book? Does it make you want to BUY the book? Discuss.

  1. The thing I don't care for about this cover is the red text on top of her red dress. Oh, and the green chip makes it looks a little Christmassy. Typography is okay, but I may have just moved "of a player" over to the left into is grey suit and let that balance off of her red dress.

Oh and this will sound totally ridiculous probably, but her boob looks pretty saggy...

  2. I'm still trying to work out what the genre is...guessing romance, maybe. I'm not sure if there is something happening in the corner where it seems some green in bleeding into the cover...or if that is on purpose. For some reason, it is a bit of a distraction to my eye.

I'm sorry, however, this cover isn't really capturing me so if I saw it on a shelf I'd probably pass it by. Trying to think of suggestions but none coming to me right now.

  4. This cover reminds me of a "caper" movie.

There is something that is wrong with this cover and I can't put my finger on it. It might be the awkward pose of the actors or the red letters on the red dress.

I've looked at for a few days now and I still can't point to one thing.

  5. So funny how different people like different things! I love this cover! I'd say, from the cover, the book looks like romance... but it'll also have some fun action in it, also. The cover makes this book look like fun... to me, at least!
