Only Scandal Will Do by Jenna Jaxon
What's the genre? What is it you like or don't like about this cover?
Does it make you want to know more about the book? Does it make you want
to BUY the book? Discuss.
Definitely romance. I like the full moon background and from the looks of what I can see, it's in an old world setting. It may be my screen but there's something...odd...about their skin. Otherwise, seems nice and should catch the eye of an avid romance reader.
For a romance cover I do like it. The typography is beautiful and I love the way the top and bottom flourishes enclose the text. I'm not generally a glow fan,but it works in this case because the rest of the cover is ethereal. Very nicely done and it looks professional.
I will say that someday it would be nice for a male model other than Jimmy to start selling poses. He's lovely, but he's on every single cover!
Definitely historic romance. I like the cover. Looks very hot! And the text is appealing. The only thing I dislike is the male's ponytail. Hahaha, that's just a personal preference though. I never really dug "Mr. Ponytails", but given the genre and if it is historic, it seems only reasonable for the guy would have one. I think the colors, background and pose are very eye-catching. I would buy it.
As I was scrolling down this page looking at the covers, I had to stop when I saw this one. Right off it caught my eye. And if I was looking to purchase a book I would then read the blurb and most likely make a purchase.
This cover is beautiful. The soft blended colors, the models used and the font are all attention grabbing. So in essence, this cover did its job by grabbing my attention.
Genre: Generic romance.
ReplyDeleteThis cover is fine it looks like every other romance cover on the market.
I can't really say anything good or bad about it.

I love the muted background and the soft blue...and the font really catches my eye.

ReplyDeleteHistoric Romance
ReplyDeleteThe title is beautiful and the way it's enclosed seems to just 'fit' the reast of the sceen. It's provocative but not slutty. Very nice cover!
