Adventure Dawns by Ben White
What's the genre? What's the logline? What is it you like or don't like about this cover? Does it make you want to know more about the book? Does it make you want to BUY the book? Discuss.
Like Eric, this isn't doing anything for me. The title makes it seem like a children's book to me, but the text and graphics doesn't say that to me. And nothing about the cover tells me anything about the book.
It's boring. I don't understand what the book is supposed to be about, what age the target audience is, etc. To me, it looks like it might be a book about the adventures of a female pirate for kids, but I'm not really sure.
I'm sorry to say that the text and graphics just don't do anything for me. The cover is bland and doesn't draw me in.

ReplyDeleteI don't mind the font (it's legible and could be considered pirate-y), but the clover image doesn't make sense and tells us nothing about the genre.
