The Untouchable by Angelita Gill
What's the genre? What's the logline? What is it you like or don't like about this cover? Does it make you want to know more about the book? Does it make you want to BUY the book? Discuss.
Wasn't the Untouchable a movie? The title might confuse people... especially because the lighting on the man looks very old movies-style to me.
I think this story is romance. Possibly it is about a tryst with a servant or low-class citizen. In a forest. But the sky is red so maybe there is murder?
I like this cover. It looks like a Romantic/Suspense to me because of the "Tryst" in the upper right corner. I get the sense that the guy is hiding bare-chested in the woods.
The red text is impossible to read at thumbnail size, but the expression on the model's face is striking enough that people will be clicking on it to see it better. It's not your typical bare-chested-man cover, which is nice.
The word Untouchable calls to mind a caste system and suggests good world building.
The colors and images suggest danger and suffering, but Tryst puts a romantic spin on it.
I agree with Kimberly that this is likely a romantic suspense, but I'd add "with paranormal overtones" because of the title.
First I have no clue what the genre is: Romance?/ thriller?/ mystery? .... Not a clue
The text is very hard to read all the way around. I totally missed the word tryst in the upper right hand corner until I read the other comments. I understand that the publisher would like to put there mark on the book, but having all that text along the left hand side just take away from the rest of the cover.
Like yesterday having a good looking guy on the cover doesn't do anything for me.
This guy looks kinda scary to me. He reminds me of Lurch from the old Addam's Family TV show. "You rang?" The title makes me think he might have some sort of infectious disease.

Hmm, I would probably pass on this one, sorry. :(
YA: Cheat, Liar
Adult: Shackled
