  1. (Eric-) I like this cover. It has good clean graphics.

The book look to be about people taking justice into their own hands.

  2. Agree with Eric - people taking justice into their own hands. But I don't think it's a vigilante novel in the terms I usually think of (violence up that yin yang); the colors and the casualness of the fonts, etc., make me think the violence won't be overdone.

Very nice cover. I esp. like purple. :-)

  3. When I saw this I immediately thought of "The Mod Squad" TV show. This cover has a retro feel, maybe even back to the '50s. I like the graphic and the simple layout. It's interesting. I'd read the blurb to find out more about this book.

  4. Interesting. The odd difference in style between the figures and the shadow rather puts me off. Maybe it's just not my genre though since I wouldn't be attracted to something with a "Mod Squad" feel to it.

  5. Hi all, author here. The genre is mid-grade fiction. The story is, in large part, about justice, but in a mostly harmless and fun way. Here's the blurb:

Thirteen-year-old Ander Cartwright is an expert on two subjects: fortune cookies and payback. Especially payback. When he’s not struggling with algebra, Ander leads an anonymous revenge club that operates within the walls of Marina Middle School. Got a beef with a classmate? Email Ander’s crew and, if your case if legit, they’ll get even on your behalf. It’s not easy to right wrongs and fly under the radar at the same time. That’s why Ander developed three simple rules designed to help him and his friends stay incognito. But when Ander spots the opportunity to settle a score of his own, he ignores the rules, setting off a chain of events that threatens to blow his cover, and it’ll take all the butt-kicking, detention-dodging skill the guys can muster to keep a lid on their secret.
