  1. Suspense or mystery? I have to say, I am tempted to go look at that on Amazon by that cover. Not sure what our graphics experts will think but I like it.

  2. I would think that this is mystery or crime novel.

I do like the image and the color work, it has a nice split screen image. I can't read the small text under the author's name at all. I wonder if it might be better to move the author's name below the number one and make it a bit bigger.

  3. I really like it. I can read the author name. I can't read the blurb below it, but the artwork and typography is compelling enough that I want to explore more so it's one I would actively click on to read that small type.

I actually like the typography grouped in the middle with room around it, so would not move the author name.

  4. This looks like a professionally produced cover, and is almost certainly a thriller. I would also click on Amazon to read more, and I like the grouping of the name and title - it has a bit of a film noir feel to it.

  5. I liked the depth of field, but other than that I thought it was quite bland. I assume it's an abduction story from the title. All of the lettering needs to be bigger, and I think it's crying out for a figure, even if only in shadow.
