The Great Altruist by Z.D. Robinson
What's the genre? What is it you like or don't like about this cover? Does it make you want to know more about the book? Does it make you want to BUY the book? Discuss.
Time travel, obviously, but maybe more in the SFnal (science fictional) realm than the fantasy realm.
I like it. Like the colors (but then again, I love blues and greens :-)). The twisting light makes me think of an atomic particle (or possibly something space related).
I don't know what the logline would be, but I love time travel stories (always have)...so I'm going to check out this one. :-)
Hmm... I actually don't care for the colors, too pastely for my taste, but the cover is pretty attention getting. I'm not big on time travel novels, but I might give this a look if I came across it. Easy to read title and author's name.
It looks more SF than fantasy to me though, and I wonder if that is deliberate. A fantasy fan might well give this a pass.
I think that the cover is good, but at the same time I think that it lacks something, but I can't put my finger on it. I know that's no help.... perhaps Robin is right, try a sans serif font.

I like it. My only comment would be that it would be nice if the title and subtitle were in a sans serif font.
