What's the genre? What's the logline? What is it you like or don't like about this cover? Does it make you want to know more about the book? Does it make you want to BUY the book? Discuss.

  1. Totally intriguing and original. Yellow and Red are supposed to be the money-making colors. Think MacDonald's. The rat is great and really . . . ratty looking. It all works for me.

Interesting cover. The yellow is attention getting, not so sure about the rat graphic, it’s a bit of a cartoon.

I assume that the book is a true life adventure about rats.

  3. Can't tell if this is for children, young adults, or grown-ups. The 'clip-art' look of the rat and the stereotypical cheese wallpaper make this hard to grasp. Looks very amatuerish.

The text is very readable, but the cover doesn't give me any idea about the book.
