I love the cover - its simplicity and the way it corresponds to the title. It would definitely draw me to buy the story if I read this type of book (though I have nothing against the menage genre; it's just not my thing).
The body positions look odd to me, the shoulders not quite right. Is it just me? Other than that, it's an attractive cover. Definitely not my genre, but if this were my thing, I'd take a closer look which is what a cover should do.
I like the idea of the cover, but the images looks like it's been Photoshop and is a little off. J.R., I agree with you that the shoulder doesn't look right. It belongs to the man's head on the left on side, but without the neck it looks to be in the wrong location. Also where the heck is the women's shoulder, shouldn't she have one?The cover makes me think Erotic Romance
The cover is beautiful. It definitely identifies its genre as erotic romance. The simplicity is what's striking. It can be identified from a thumbnail or across a crowded bookstore.
It's really hard to find the woman's shoulder at all. Maybe it's hidden beneath the sheet? But overall a very nicely done cover which clearly shows the genre without being so overt as to be tacky.
This is the kind of cover I love - no guessing what the story is about. If you're a fan of that particular story, you would gravitate to it immediately. It does it's job, and then some!
Ooh, I like this one. It's a classy cover--no bare chests in sight *g*. And I would imagine from this that the story would be either erotic romance or very sensual contemporary.
I love this cover and the concept interests me too. Suits the genre thatCathryn writes in
