I'm something of a female chauvinist sow, so if I was browsing through e-book covers, I'd come to a screaming halt at this one and go, "mmmm...abs..." Wouldn't even notice anything else. Except, perhaps, "move that tepee out of the way so I can see more of those abs." I'm also hoping that the mild nudity suggests that it's a...ahem...steamy kind of romance.
The fact that the woman is in the foreground and shows her face (whereas the man is just a headless torso on which we can project any fantasy face we like) tells me that this is definitely aimed at female readers.Traciehttp://traciemcbridewriter.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8175053073870042983.post-23633671581439097762012-04-01T08:57:07.835-07:002012-04-01T08:57:07.835-07:00@Eric, maybe it's an alternative reality, two-...@Eric, maybe it's an alternative reality, two-sunned world populated by Native Americans who are cold.Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14745547538571404846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8175053073870042983.post-67617726172153371762012-04-01T08:43:32.474-07:002012-04-01T08:43:32.474-07:00Genre: romance.

For example why are there a different sunset in the lower left hand corner?

I also don't mean to sound cruel but this is not a very good Photoshop job.

The text also doesn't work with the image. Take Robin's advice and remove Papyrus from your computer (I have).Erichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11882910901554365995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8175053073870042983.post-29520340830966673732012-04-01T07:35:26.037-07:002012-04-01T07:35:26.037-07:00Native American romance. I don't like the fonts though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8175053073870042983.post-30328465967908998102012-04-01T06:31:34.682-07:002012-04-01T06:31:34.682-07:00[sarcasm on] Oh look! My favorite![sarcasm off]

Not just Papyrus, but Papyrus with an overly heavy drop shadow, married to an ornate script font that does not match it. On a too-busy background, it's hard to read the tile against all that clutter. And speaking of hard; has that guy been standing in a freezer all day? His nipple is so hard it looks painful.

Sorry, I don't mean to be flip or cruel, but this cover definitely needs improvement.Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14745547538571404846noreply@blogger.com
