I don't especially like the background pattern. I might experiment with a photograph of actual trees and see if it looks better.Matt Posnerhttp://schooloftheages.webs.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8175053073870042983.post-62169301952949823002011-07-29T05:57:06.680-07:002011-07-29T05:57:06.680-07:00Thanks for your comments. I was trying to make the tree look as if it was carved out of the wood, as it's described in the book, but I can see that it might be a little lost this colour.Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06949383007237428146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8175053073870042983.post-24741036365927559992011-07-27T21:00:00.581-07:002011-07-27T21:00:00.581-07:00(Eric-) I would guess that this is a fantasy. Beyond that the cover does not say much to me, I'm not sure what the earth/egg and leaf have to do with anything. It needs more to get my attention.

I would also agree to make the knot work pop a bit better, change it's color or the background color. Green on Green is not helping.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8175053073870042983.post-67169482546876093302011-07-27T19:16:49.391-07:002011-07-27T19:16:49.391-07:00The colors of the leaf show up really well. Or even a bronze, something to make it pop a little bit better.

katAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
